Kanye West with record number of Grammy 2012 nominations! 2011-12-01

Although the masterpiece “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” was not worth, in jury's mind, a nomination for Album Of The Year, Kanye West still has a Chance to win seven gramophone-shaped awards, the biggest number of nominations this year. Yet, even now we know that the artist will be able to get  at most 5, as he has double nominations in two categories. His solo single “All Of The Lights” was nominated as Song Of The Year, Best Rap Collaboration and Best Rap Song. In the latter, West can share the Grammy for “Otis” with Jay-Z.  The first official single off “Watch The Throne” was also nominated as one of 5 Best Rap Performances. The earnest competition is expected between Best Rap Album nominees, where Kanye West is a dark horse. The question is: will he come onstage as the creator of „My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy”, or rather with Jay-Z to collect the award for „Watch The Throne”? We will find out on February 12th.
